PURPOSE:To attain effective spare switching by applying alarm supervision at a high-order group and a low-order group to improve the accuracy of alarm supervision and applying collation of spare at the high-order group and the low-order group of multiple level so as to simplify the system. CONSTITUTION:Each multiplexing section uses respective high-order group and low-order group signals to detect an alarm signal and inputs the result to an alarm supervisory section 7A. The supervisory section 7A discriminates from which multiplex section for the high-order group signal or the low-order signal group the alarm is raised and inputs a control signal to a control section 8A, which controls switches 1, 6A by the input to switch the multiplexing section raising the alarm into a spare multiplex section. Further, the high-order group signal and the low-order group signal are inputted to the control section 8A to apply the spare collation at the high-order group and the low-order group and when any dissidence takes place, the 8A discriminates the system entirely including the high-order group alarm and the low-order group alarm of the active line and the spare line and switches the section into the spare multiplex section. |
