PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption by decreasing the beam current value of a picture tube in order to attain the longtime reception without fail during DC operation even if the screen is slightly dark. CONSTITUTION:The voltage drop by ABL setting resistance 11 is R1I0, providing that the value of stabilizing DC output voltage 18, the value of ABL setting resistance 11, and the value of a picutre-tube beam current when power supply 2 is used, i.e. when ABL switching resistance 10 is opened by switching relay 7 are denoted by V0, R1 and I0. Here, since resistance 13 is a high resistance diode 14 conducts in sequence of R1I0 V0, and the beam current will not increase any more. |
