PURPOSE:To detect the frosting of a heat exchanger and prevent enlargement of frosting and freezing by a method wherein the input signal of a room temperature input pin for a micro-computer is utilized. CONSTITUTION:Data, transmitted from a remote controller at every predetermined time, is taken into a microcomputer 3 by the remote control input pin 10 thereof to compare a room temperature data with a set temperature. In this case, the data of room temperature input pin 4 is also read in to control the operation of the air-conditioning machine. When the data of room temperature input pin 4 is lower than tD deg.C, the heat exchanger is frosted and the operation is switched to main body thermistor operation to stop the operation. Further, the main body thermistor operation is effected until receiving the transmission of the remote controller 7 by the micro-computer after next predetermined time. When the signal is received, the main body thermistor operation is switched once into the remote thermistor operation to process the receiving data and read in the data of the room temperature input pin 4 while the operation of the air-conditioning machine may be controlled by the value of this data. |
