PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration in photographic performances, such as color development density of a coupler, resistance to fog, or sensitivity, by incorporating a formalin scavenger in a silver halide color photographic sensitive material contg. a 2-equiv. type magenta dye-forming polymer coupler. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide color photographic sensitive material contg. the 2-equiv. magenta dye-forming polymer coupler contains at least one kind of polymer coupler reactive with formalin, preferably, a compd. represented by the formula, R3 being divalent alkylene. It is used, preferably, in an amt. of 1.0X10<-4>-1X10<-3> mol per m<2> of the silver halide color photographic sensitive material. |
