The machine makes it possible to automatically place a pre-cutout and preformed packaging over an assembly of bottles, in which a frame (1) of substantially parallelepipedal form supports, in its upper part, a magazine (38) receiving the packaging blanks, the latter being brought individually by articulated arms (40) with gripping suckers (41) into a work station (P2) in which the blank receives the bottles. The blank and the bottles then pass into successive work stations (P3, P4), in which the lateral and longitudinal walls of the packaging are raised and the top of the packaging is positioned over the bottles, these walls being held in position and adhesively bonded in order to form the finished packaging. <IMAGE>
