PURPOSE:To fix a plurality of light-emitting element arrays easily to a reading head, etc. by using a material having high thermal conductivity as a substrate while giving the substrate an area only of sufficiently dissipating heat from a plurality of light-emitting elements when the arrays are formed onto the substrate. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of LED chips 2 are arranged and fastened onto a substrate 11 at regular intervals, a condenser lens 3, the side surfaces of both ends thereof are supported by supproters 4, is mounted onto these chips, and beams front he LED chips 2 are condensed. In the constitution, an Al plate, etc. capable of sufficiently dissipating heat from the LED chips 2 are used as the substrate 11, and the substrate is given an area fully resisting heat dissipation in size and easily bent previously. Accordingly, light-emitting element arrays can be used as they are when the substrate 11 is mounted to a picture reading head, thus eliminating the need for a heat sink, etc., then facilitating mounting thereof. |
