PURPOSE:To effectively use the time required for transferring data, etc., so as to improve the operability of a personal computer in a method which records encoded signal on a magnetic tape for recording sound signals after modulating the encoded signals into audible signals, by recording the audible signals and other sound signals on separate tracks of the same magnetic tape. CONSTITUTION:The receptacle 31 of a personal computer 3 is connected with each jack of a cassette tape recorder 2. In case when a program is loaded, a signal is outputted from the external storage device controlling section 34 of the computer 3 and the magnetic tape 1 of a cassette tape 1 starts running. Then the program recorded on a track 11D (or 12D) of the magnetic tape 1 after it is modulated into audible signals is read out by the cassette tape recorder 2 and inputted in a demodulating section 33. On the other hand, sound signals of music, explanations of the program, etc., recorded on another track 11A (or 12A) of the magnetic tape 1 are simultaneously read out by the tape recorder 2 and inputted in a loudspeaker 35, by which the sound signals are reproduced as sounds, through a gate switch 37. |
