ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE BODY

摘要

PURPOSE:To form the titled body having a high sensitivity in a visible region of a long wavelength by incorporating squarillium dye having N-substd. carbazole ring in a charge generating period. CONSTITUTION:The titled body is formed by laminating the charge generating layer contg. the squarillium dye shown in the formula I (wherein R is a hydrogen atom or an <=4C alkyl group) and a charge-transfer layer contg. an electron donative substance on a conductive substrate. A representative compd. of the formula I is the compd. of the formula II. The above described photosensitive body obtd. by incorporating the compd. of the formula I has a good panchromatic color sensitive property in the visible region of the long wavelength and also a high sensitivity and a good charge character. In the titled sensitive body, an org. photoconductive substance satisfying the character necessary to the electrophotographic sensitive body is used.
