PURPOSE:To rapidly record a color image with a dry developing by exposing a photosensitive composition composed of a photosensitive silver halide, a reducing agent, a polymeric compd. and a color image forming substance which is prepared on a substrate, so as to form the image, thereby forming a latent image and then by fixing the above described composition by heating. CONSTITUTION:The recording material records the image by using the silver halide sensitive material as a photosensor, thereby enabling an oxidation - reduction reaction between the silver salt and the reducing agent in a presence of a catalyst which is a latent image nuclear of the silver halide obtd. by exposure and also by carrying out a polymerization reaction in the presence of a polymerization initiator of a radical intermediate in a course of the reaction. The above described reactions are greatly accelerated by heating. In the recording material, the high polymer compd. may produce exposure and unexposure parts corresponding to a kind of an used silver halide sensitive material. Usually, the part forming the high polymer compd. is superior than the part not forming the high polymer compd. in a water resisting, a solvent resisting, a heating resisting and a pressure resisting properties. As a result, the part of forming the high polymer compd. is transferred to an image receiving material by washing off, heating or an application of pressure whereby the color image is formed in the aid of the color image forming substance. |
