PURPOSE:To enable the slackness of a conductor rod to be quantitatively diagnosed without taking out a rotor, by a method wherein high-frequency oscillation is provided for one side end ring for a squirrel-cage rotor, and wherein the degree of the oscillation transmitted to the other side end ring is detected and compared with the set value. CONSTITUTION:So far as a squirrel-cage rotor inserting a conductor rod 3 into the slot of a rotor core 7 and combining the both ends of the rod with end rings 2a, 2b integrally is concerned, a high-frequency oscillator 1 is fitted on one side fend ring and high-frequency oscillation is provided. And the degree of the oscillation transmitted to the other side end ring through the conductor rod 3 is detected by a sensor 4 and is introduced to the detector 14 and is compared with the previously set value, and the degree of the slackness of the conductor rod 3 is arranged to be diagnosed. In this manner, even if the rotor is not taken out of the stator, the slackness of the conductor rod can be quantitatively detected and appliances can be easily maintained. |
