PURPOSE:To prevent the depression of a main magnetic pole and to obtain stable head output by constituting all of the main magnetic pole, auxiliary members sandwiching the main magnetic pole, etc. of a metallic material and constituting the peripheral side of the main magnetic pole facing a medium of a nonmagnetic material having the wear resistance equal to or lower than the wear resistance of the main magnetic pole. CONSTITUTION:The main magnetic pole 6 consists of a thin amorphous Co-Zr- Nb film. The auxiliary members 7, 7' are constituted of bulk magnetic materials 8, 8' such as 'Sendust(R)' alloy formed of return pass parts 8a, 8'a and grooves 8b, 8'b for winding and thin amorphous Co-B belts 9, 9'. The top end parts of the belts 9, 9' are made into the spacer parts 9a, 9'a which are crystallized to annihilate the magnetic characteristics to prevent the direct magnetical joint of the parts 8a, 8'a and the pole 6. The remaining parts are joined magnetically to the pole 6 to provide the auxiliary magnetic pole parts 9b, 9b' to be formed with the winding 10. |
