PURPOSE:To simplify the supporting organization of a stator winding end, by organizing a keep plate for a rotary electric machine with an insulating substance and making the keep plate function as a reinforcement for a bearing plate for supporting the stator winding end. CONSTITUTION:A stator core 1 is positioned by rib bars 2 and key sections 3 extending in the axial direction, and is fastened to be fixed in the axial direction by keep plates 4 arranged at the both ends of the core, the rib bars 2 and rib nuts 5. The rib bars 2 and the rib keys 3 are integrally formed with insulating substance. The keep plates 4 are formed with the insulating substance of epoxy laminate plates or the like, and are integrally formed with a comparatively large reinforcement 8 for the purpose of increasing the rigidity and supporting the ends of stator windings 7 contained in the slots of the stator core 1. Grooves 9 for cooling ducts are provided for the face of the keep plates in contact with the core 1, and cooling ducts 10 are provided for the core 1 at suitable intervals in the axial direction. |
