PURPOSE:To improve the reliability by winding an axially rectangular winding support secured to a metal sheet in a foil winding, and supporting fixedly projections protruded in one or both directions of the upper and lower ends, thereby preventing the winding from slipping down at a shortcircuiting time. CONSTITUTION:Metallic axially rectangular winding supports 30, 30' are secured and wound in pressure contact with a metal sheet axially in an outer winding 5, a projection is formed at the lower portion, and supported fixedly through insulating spacers 21, 21' to core clamping fittings 20 and a core 1. Since the winding 4 is radially rigidly supported by the supports 30, 30', even if an electromagnetic mechanical force is acted radially of the winding 4 at a shortcircuiting time, the force is absorbed by the supports 30, 30' to prevent the winding 4 from slipping down. Further, since the ends of the supports 30, 30' are supported fixed through insulating spacers 21, 21', the insulating reliability is enhanced. |
