PURPOSE:To execute exactly replacement to a developing device having a color toner corresponding to a color separated latent image formed on a latent image carrying body by constituting a titled device so that when a developing device to be inserted is not the one to a developing device to be adjoined, an interference is generated between both developing devices, and its insertion becomes impossible. CONSTITUTION:According to a position relation of a groove and a projecting part, as for a position relation in which all developing devices can be inserted, there are four kinds from the viewpoint of a developing position. For instance, when the developing position is denoted as (1) and absolute positions are determined as (2)-(4) in reverse to the rotational direction of a developing device 4, four relative position relations of No.1-No.4 as shown in a table 1. Therefore, said relation is limited to only an order of a wheel ring corresponding to an order of a color separated image exposure, a color developing device corresponding to an image exposure executed at the start is moved to the developing position and awaited, and with respect to the subsequent development, a color separated image exposure and a developing device having each color toner correspond by one to one, and the developing device can be loaded easily and can be handled simply. |
