PURPOSE:To minimize an off-track quantity due to temperature and to obtain a driving device having a stable interchangeability by installing a connecting plate to link a carriage and a shaft of a step motor, a driving source of the carriage. CONSTITUTION:A connecting plate 9 is fixed to a free side surface of a carriage 3 and linked through a universal joint 10 to a screw 6. L1, L3 and L5 are determined so that an off-track due to temperature may not occur as much as possible. Conventionally, DELTAt(L1.alpha1+L2.alpha2+L3.alpha3+L5.alpha5)=0 is obtained, and L4alpha4 is added to the above-mentioned item by installing L4. this becomes a corrected item of an error difference which occurs at the time of design. The correction can be operated either of the dimensions and an expansion coefficient. The length of L4 can be freely changed for a pitch only of screws 8a and 8b and a temperature expansion coefficient alpha4 can be easily changed by changing the material of the connecting plate 9. |
