PURPOSE:To prevent the destruction of a circuit due to an overload by stopping a high-voltage output smoothly, by operating only one high-voltage circuit block when either one of two power source breaks down. CONSTITUTION:Electric power from the power source circuit 1A is supplied to the high-voltage driving circuit 3A of the 1st high-voltage circuit block and the high-voltage output circuit 4A of the 2nd high-voltage circuit block. Electric power from the 2nd power source circuit 1B, on the other hand, is supplied to the high- voltage driving circuit 3B of the 2nd high-voltage circuit block and the high-voltage output circuit 4A of the 1st high-voltage circuit block. Further, the electric power of the circuit 1B is applied to a horizontal oscillating circuit 2, whose output is inputted to both driving circuits 3A and 3B. If the circuit 1A breaks down, the driving circuit 3A stops operation and the output operation of the output circuit 4A is also stopped. Further, even if the power supply to the output circuit 4B is stopped and the driving circuit 3B is still in operation, the output operation of the output circuit 4B is stopped to stop the high-voltage output of a high-voltage generator smoothly. |
