PURPOSE:To obtain a composition capable of forming a molded article having high mechanical strength, excellent surface appearance, and high deformation resistance and dimensional stability, by compounding a specific propylene- ethylene copolymer, a polyethylene and a specific fibrous filler. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be prepared by compounding (A) 40-94(wt)% propylene-ethylene copolymer having an ethylene content of 7-30% and a methanol-precipitation of 8-40%, preferably a block copolymer having an MI of 2-30g/10min, (B) 3-20% polyehtylene preferably having an MI of 0.1-20g/10min and a density of 0.9-0.965g/cc, (C) 3-40% fibrous filler having an average fiber diameter of 0.1-2mu and an aspect ratio of 20-60, preferably fibrous magnesium oxysulfate, potassium titanate fiber, etc., and preferably further (D) talc having an average particle diameter of 0.3-3mu. The amount of the component D is 5-50pts.wt. per 100pts. of the sum of the components A, B and C, and the weight ratio of C/D is 1/9-2/1. |
