PURPOSE:To correctly detect abnormality of a roughness sensor, by suspending a roughness (engine vibration) control when an engine is in a cranking condition and placing the engine is a fixed roughness condition here comparing an output from a roughness sensor with the predetermined value. CONSTITUTION:A comparison discriminating device 43 compares an output from a roughness sensor 33 with a preset reference value, and in accordance with the compared result a control circuit 46 corrects a control value in a memory device 44 storing a control value of fuel injection quantity or the like preset in accordance with the operational condition of an engine. And the above control circuit 46, suspending its operation by a roughness control suspending means 49 when a cranking detecting means 48 detects a cranking condition, suspends a roughness control. While the roughness control is suspended, a control device, comparing in a roughness level discriminating means 50 the output from the roughness sensor with the predetermined value, detects abnormality of the sensor 33. |
