DISPLAY CURSOR CONTROL SYSTEM FOR CLOSE WRITING KANA-TO-KANJI CONVERSION

摘要

PURPOSE:To attain close writing conversion with a simple operation by operating a cursor control key to shift a cursor for each character or each word. CONSTITUTION:A character cursor 40 displayed in an input character string display area 46 equals an underline put under a single character; while a word cursor 48 shown in a conversion character string display area 44 displays with inversion the characters forming a single word. A character string obtained after conversion, i.e., the result of conversion is displayed in the area 44. While 'auto-KANA (Japanese syllabary)/KANJI (Chinese character)' showing that a conversion action mode is equal to an automatic KANA/KANJI conversion mode is displayed in the first half of the area 46. Then the input character string and the cursor 40 are displayed on the brackets 47 in the second half of the area 46. Here a character string obtained after conversion is called 'conversion character string'.
