PURPOSE:To obtain the titled base material having a moderate compression strength and a low compression strain, by mixing pieces of an olefin type resin foam having closed cells and a foamable urethane solution, and foaming the urethane solution as well as molding the mixture into a sheet. CONSTITUTION:Pieces (A) of an olefin type resin foam (preferably one having an expansion rate of 10-40) having closed cells and a foamable urethane solution (preferably one having an expansion rate of 5-20) that will be made into a soft foamed body having open cells when foamed are mixed, and the foamable urethane solution is foamed while the mixture is molded into a sheet, which is the intended base material. The proportional ratio of the component (A) to the component (B) is preferably 1-3. EFFECT:A base material can be produced inexpensively. |
