PURPOSE:To equalize the intervals between printing dots formed in each heat generating part, by differentiating the width of the terminal of each heat generating part of an alternate lead type thermal head in a common side and a driver circuit and thickening the former while thinning the latter. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal head wherein one terminals of a large number of heat generating elements R1-Rn arranged in a line or zigzag state are succes sively gathered two at a time and the gathered ones are connected to a driver circuit D through first conductor patterns L1-Ln+1/2 while the other terminals of said heat generating elements R1-Rn are gathered two at a time in a combi nation shifted by one from the aforementioned combination by two and the gathered pairs are further gathered to plural blocks and second conductor patterns Lc1-Lc2 are connected to a power source side at every block, the widths of the second conductor patterns Lc1-Lc2 are formed so as to be made thicker than that of the first conductor patterns L1-Ln+1/2. |
