PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of exposure of X-rays to a patient by shortening the rise time of tube voltage by switching a switch control mode at the rise of the tube voltage and at stationary time of the operation. CONSTITUTION:Switch control means 10 is operated in a first control mode of controlling the operation of opening and closing switches 3, 4 to make constant a maximum value of an interruption current of the switches 3, 4 and in a second control mode of controlling the operation of opening and closing the switches 3, 4 in response to a pulse signal. Control mode switching means 12 switches the control modes at the rise of the tube voltage and at the time of a stationary state by means of the X-ray irradiation signal by making use of the first and second control modes. Controlled the operation of opening and closing the switches 3, 4 upon entering the X-ray irradiation signal whereby the tube voltage rises such that a maximum interruption current gets constant, the rise time of the tube voltage can be shortened. |
