PURPOSE:To omit a transmission mechanism and to simplify a mechanism, by providing slits in a part of a component, which is rotated in following the rotary mechanism, in place of a timing plate. CONSTITUTION:A collar shaped flange 8 is provided at tone end of a unitary timing plate gear 7, which is intermeshed with a driving gear 4 on a rotary mechanism. Slits 2 are provided in the peripheral part of the flange 8 in the radial directions at an equal interval along the entire circumference. A photosensor 3 comprising a light emitting element and a light receiving element is arranged at a position, where the peripheral part of the flange 8 passes a light path. In this constitution, the gear 7, which is intermeshed with the gear 4, is rotated in synchronization with the rotary mechanism, and a pulse signal, which is synchronized with the rotation of the rotary mechanism, is obtained from the sensor 3. Since the gear 7 serves both roles of a timing plate and a timing-plate driving gear, the number of parts can be reduced, and the mechanism can be simplified. |
