发明名称 HOT ROLLING METHOD OF GRAIN ORIENTED SILICON STEEL
摘要 PURPOSE:To manufacture a grain oriented silicon steel with less roughened edges in high yield by edging a sheet bar within a specific range and maintaining specifically the side face temperatures of sheet bar before finish rolling. CONSTITUTION:A silicon steel slab containing 2.5-4.0% Si is heated to the temperature of 1,250-1,450 deg.C, and is rolled by a roughing mill into a sheet bar having a prescribed thickness. Thereafter, a hot rolled steel strip for a base steel is obtained through a finish rolling of 950-1,150 deg.C starting temperature of rolling. In this hot rolling, an edger is disposed between the outlet side of the final stand of a roughing mill and the inlet side of the 1st stand of a finishing mill, to edge the sheet bar within a range of 5-60m/m. Further, the side-face temperature of sheet bar before finish rolling is kept within a range of 1,150-1,250 deg.C.
