PURPOSE:To attain satisfactory services with a display system for subscriber information by storing previously the name of a subscriber to a memory part in accordance with each extension telephone and reading out said name information on the subscribers when mutual connection is given between extension subscribers and displaying the name of a calling subscriber on a display device at the side of called subscriber. CONSTITUTION:A main memory 9 contains a memory part where the names of subscribers are registered in accordance withe the store position of each extension telephone. When an extension subscriber 1 dials the number of an extension subscriber 2, a central controller 8 connects both subscribers to each other. At the same time, the controller 8 starts the memory part of the memory 9 to read out the name information on the subscriber 1 and to display it on a display device 6 of the subscriber 2 through a display device control part 7. The name information of the memory part can be rewritten by a maintenance console 10. |
