PURPOSE:To perform a good shape control by operating the valve opening following the set heat-up pattern for the prescribed time after starting of the heat-up and by operating the valve opening until the deviation is made in zero after the prescribed time. CONSTITUTION:A valve opening arithmetic part 63 operates the valve opening pattern On (thermal crown rough control pattern) corresponding to a heat-up pattern P(n) and sends out a valve control signal to each valve 3(j). When the thermal crown rough control is finished, a pattern comparing part 66 compares the target temp. pattern Y(n) and actual temp. pattern T and sends out a heat-up finishing signal in case of the pattern deviation epsilon(j) for the zone (j) of a work roll 1 being zero. In case the deviation epsilon(j) is not zero the valve opening arithmetic part 63 sends out to each valve 3(j) a valve control signal with operating the valve opening On(j) corresponding to the deviation epsilon(j). |
