PURPOSE:To make automation of connection work possible by operating electric resistance welding, using an electrode inserted into a horizontal hole made in the side wall of a penetration hole after penetrating an electrode pillar into a penetration hole with a circular wall and welding a lead wire to the top of electrode pillar. CONSTITUTION:Set a penetration hole of an electrode pillar with a circular wall (4), as it is projecting, inside the concaved part (3) of the electrolytic tank cover (2) of a storage battery (1) and penetrate an electrode pillar (5) into the penetration hole. Welding the core wire (8) of a lead wire (7) through a notch part set on the top of a circle wall and turning on electricity between an electrode (13) contacted the top and an electrode (13') inserted into a horizontal hole (9) made in the side wall of the penetration hole and the lead wire (7) and the electrode (5) are connected by electric resistance welding. Deposition connection can be safety and completely obtained by preventing the the scattering of molten lead alloy in welding by the circular wall (4) and productivity can be increased by making automation possible thereof. |
