PURPOSE:To maintain the rigidity of a transmission belt and facilitate the winding of canvas by constituting blocks with a material produced by winding the canvas impregnated or stuck with a rubber compounding material around a core material and molding it. CONSTITUTION:A transmission belt (a) is made by arranging trapezoidal blocks 3, 4 made of a material produced by spirally inserting the canvas impregnated or stuck with rubber compounding material around a core material 6 and molding it at a predetermined pitch on a flat belt (b). The side-pressure resistance and rigidity of the belt (b) is increased by applying a rubber compounding material to the canvas, spirally winding and molding it, and the resin- impregnated canvas 7 can be wound around the core material 6 by incorporating the core material 6, thus moldability is improved. |
