PURPOSE:To positively start the operation of the heat transfer device by periodically increasing the quantity of heating of a heater in an accumulator and stopping the operation of a cooler to elevate the pressure of a second working fluid and circulating a first working fluid from bellows within the accumulator to the heat receiving part. CONSTITUTION:A heat receiving part 1 located at a high position and a heat radiating part 2 located at a low position are connected to each other in a loop shape by means of pipelines 5A-5D. A first working fluid 6 is sealed in the loop-shaped pipeline and circulated thereby to transport the heat from the heat receiving part 1 to the heat radiating part 2. Check valves 3A and 3B are provided in the pipelines leading from the heat radiating part to the heat receiving part, said check valves being opened only when the first working fluid moves from the heat radiating part to the heat receiving part. The accumulator 4 containing therein bellows 8 is communicated with the pipeline between these valves 3A and 3B. A second working fluid 9 is sealed in the internal space of the accumulator 4, and is heated and cooled by a heater 10 and a cooler 11 provided in the accumulator. |
