PURPOSE:To simplify the mounting operation of a reinforcing member and to reduce the manufacturing cost of the heat exchanger by projecting the winding portion of a tube through which a heat exchange fluid flows, from the end surface of a heat transfer fin, and fitting a reinforcing member into the projected winding portion and then heat-bonding them together. CONSTITUTION:In the heat exchanger constituted of a tube 4 through which a heat exchange fluid flows, and a heat transfer fin 3 heat-bonded to the tube 4 in a heat conductible manner, the winding part 4a of the tube 4 is protruded from the end surface of the heat transfer fin 3. An arcuate portion 10a of the reinforcing member 10 is fitted into the protruded winding portion 4a, and is heated and bonded. As a result, the mounting operation of the reinforcing member can be simplified further than heretofore and hence the manufacturing cost can be largely decreased. |
