PURPOSE:To get rid of a fear of lubricating oil leakage, by forcibly pressing a tensioner to a chain. CONSTITUTION:A crankshaft 1 is connected to a cam shaft 4 of a cylinder head 3 through a chain, and a tensioner 8 is attached to the loosened side of the chain 6. A tip end of an adjuster rod 11 inserted into an adjuster body 10 being locked to the center of a cylinder block 13 is engaged with a point nearby a tip end of the tensioner 8 and thereby the tensioner is pressed to the chain 6. With this constitution, owing to a tension type in the adjuster rod 11, the adjuster body 10 is buildable in the central part of the cylinder block 13, thus there is no fear of lubricating oil leakage. |
