PURPOSE:To make a detecting rod so as not to be influenced by runout, by installing the detecting rod in a shaft center of a power transmission shaft free of sliding motion in its axial direction. CONSTITUTION:A holding pipe 24 is insertionally attached to a shaft center of a driven shaft 11, while a detecting rod 25 is slidably inserted into a center of the holding pipe 24. An engaging shaft 26 is secured to one end of a detecting rod 25 which is made shiftable inside a guide groove 11a formed in the driven shaft 11. A tip of the engaging shaft 26 is engaged with a concave part 13b formed in an inner circumferential surface of a movable sheave 13 whereby the detecting rod 25 is interlocked with this sheave and made shiftable in its axial direction. With this constitution, the detecting rod 25 is in no case influenced by runout and, what is more, a peripheral velocity in this detecting rod 25 being solidly turned round together with the movable sheave 13 is made possible to be minimized so that sliding abrasion with other members is effectively preventable from occurring. |
