发明名称 FRICTION MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the friction coefficient of a friction material by polishing the surface of the friction material made of inorganic fibers, organic fibers, metal wires, and thermosetting binding agent so as to make the surface roughness 20mum or less. CONSTITUTION:Machined fibers made by converging and roving 20wt.pt. of glass fibers are applied with bulkiness machining to obtain a fiber braid A. This fiber braid A is impregnated with a binding agent solvent and is dried at 100 deg.C for 15min. Next, it is put in a mold set at a face pressure of 150kg/cm<2> and a mold temperature of 155 deg.C and is pressurized, heated, and molded for 5min, then it is heat-treated at 200 deg.C for 4hr and is surface-polished, next it is fed between rolls rotating at a high speed to obtain a crutch facing with the surface roughness of 20mum or less, thus a friction material excellent in friction coefficient can be obtained.
