PURPOSE:To miniaturize an automatic transmission as well as to aim at improvements in the shifting performance, by constituting a regulator valve so as to regulate higher line pressure than the shift step other than this in time of (n) gear speed. CONSTITUTION:In time of (n) gear speed when a bank brake B2 is clamped in a trailing state, proper, relatively small brake clamping force is made so as to be secured in time of excepting the (n) gear speed, using a small diametral servo piston. In addition, in order to secure large brake clamping force in time of the (n) gear speed, a regulator valve 2 is constituted so as to regulate higher line pressure than the shift step other than this in time of the (n) gear speed. With this constitution, a shift shock is keepable in a favorable state, and since a large diametral servo piston becomes useless, an automatic transmission is miniaturizable. |
