PURPOSE:To facilitate the setting of a steering wheel to a car ever so easy, by building in a level-control mechanism and its clamping device at the inside of a steering wheel. CONSTITUTION:A ring part core bar auxiliary member 4 is readying itself to correspond to length of a cylindrical end part at the specified position of a holow ring part core bar 2 and, after it is inserted into a cylindrical end part 7 of a spoke part core bar 6, is inserted into the ring part core bar 2 whereby its end part is locked by means of welding. Level control for a ring part 5 makes this ring part 5 move to its desired level. At this time, a base end 8 of a spoke part 9 being supported free of rotation on a pivoting part 3 performs its sliding motion after being coverted into motion going along the surface of a boss plate 1. And, an operating lever 16 is turned to the lock side, and this sliding motion takes place after being locked to an engaging piece. |
