PURPOSE:To prevent an oil leakage from occurring with a simple seal construction, by interconnecting an oil passage, leading to a hydraulic operation chamber, directly to both insides of a transmission case and the hydraulic operating chamber via a piston, not a shaft center of a power transmission shaft. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder 19 surrounding a hydraulic operating chamber 18 is solidly formed on the backside of a movable sheave 13, while a part of a piston 20 locked to the circumference of a power transmission shaft is extendedly installed inside a transmission case 6. An oil passage 22, which connects the inside of the transmission case 6 directly to the hydraulic operating chamber 18, is installed in the piston 20. With this constitution, since working hydraulic pressure will not directly act on space between the movable sheave 13 and the power transmission shaft, an oil leakage is preventable so ample enough despite a simple seal construction. |
