The setting of the exposure of a radiation-sensitive layer in such a manner that image results of uniformly good quality are achieved even in the case of a respectively different spectrum of the radiation emerging from the object to be imaged and in the case of differing spectral sensitivity of the radiation-sensitive layer on the one hand and of a measuring component controlling the setting of the exposure on the other hand, is achieved in that filtering means are provided upstream of the measuring component, which filtering means, at least within a specified portion of the spectrum, match the progression of the resultant sensitivity of the entire arrangement comprising the measuring component and the upstream filtering means to the sensitivity of the radiation-sensitive layer.
