The invention "roof and wall heat-insulating system" relates to a roof and insulating-material covering applied outside on the load-bearing part (roof rafters and masonry structure) of a construction. This roof system can be produced for all roof and wall surfaces and roof types without gaps, regardless of pitch or shaping, in any thickness and, to be precise, while optimally fulfilling all physical and static requirements. In this arrangement, it is proposed that the layers of a multi-layer structure of commercially available insulating materials be arranged one above the other. The insulating materials are inserted in batten frameworks which are correspondingly to be placed one on top of the other in a layered manner and are nailed directly to the roof rafters, the insulating-material layer located therebeneath being retained by the battens of the upper batten framework. In this arrangement, first of all a lower vapour barrier is placed on the roof rafters, and an additional upper protective sheet is placed on the upper insulating-material layer as trussing sheet. This protective sheet is then, in turn, retained by the outer roof battens and counter-battens and/or the board shuttering of the roof covering and/or of the outer wall cladding. In this arrangement, it is possible to integrate fire-proofing strips, such as are required in larger constructions due to corresponding stipulations, without making gaps in the system.
