Appliance for measuring the filling level

An appliance for measuring the filling level in a tank is described, the force exerted by the weight of the contents being taken off via strain gauges and being indicated. The appliance described delivers exact measurement results without special reinforcements of the tank wall being necessary. To this end, the strain gauges are fastened to a measuring ring on which the entire cross-section area of the tank wall or a frame wall is supported areally and via which the tank is propped up on a foundation.
