PURPOSE:To obtain a carburetor which possesses the superior atomization efficiency over the whole operation range and in which abnormal combustion is not generated on sharp deceleration by installing, in projection onto a suction passage wall, a small venturi body having the shape suitable for the cut part on a throttle valve installed onto the downstream of a venturi having a large diameter. CONSTITUTION:A throttle valve 13 is installed onto the downstream of a venturi 15 which has a large diameter and onto which a main nozzle 18 for feeding the fuel in a float chamber 16 is opened. A cut part 20 is formed onto a part of the throttle valve 13, and a small venturi body 19 having the shape suitable for the cut part is installed in projection onto a suction passage wall 12. A discharge port 22 for the communication to a fuel feeding passage 12 is formed onto the venturi part of the small venturi body 19, and the air flows only in the small venturi body 19, when the throttle valve 13 is in closed state, and the fuel atomization efficiency is improved by the high-speed air stream. When the throttle valve 13 is sharply closed on engine deceleration, fuel is supplied by the intake air stream which passes through the small venturi body 19, and generation of abnormal combustion is prevented. |
