Plug connection which is proof against pressurised water

The invention relates to a plug connection which allows a plug or coupling configuration to be produced which is proof against lateral and longitudinal water and has an extremely high pressure sealing effect; the cable connection taking place in the plug. The sealing effect results from revulcanisation of the housing parts with the cable. Locking takes place by means of sleeves which can latch and are fitted subsequently. Waterproof plug connections as are used at present have the following disadvantages: 1. Extremely expensive (approximately DM 1000.00 per 1000 m depth). 2. Complicated processing. 3. Long delivery times. The invention is intended to overcome these factors as far as possible.
