The invention is based on the object of limiting the great number of sizes of liquefied gas tank dial gauges (filling level indicators) and consequently of simplifying stock keeping. By virtue of a scale graduation on the outer shaft, and on the float linkage, the device can be infinitely adjusted to the respective tank size, even on the spot. The advantages accomplished by the invention are attributable to the fact that, instead of a great number of liquefied gas tank dial gauges (filling level indicators) of different sizes, now only one adjustable device is necessary.
