<p>A process and device for calibrating a photographic colour enlarging or copying machine. The measurement system, which uses, as the measurement light, the copying light of the enlargement machine to be calibrated, makes selective measurements in the colours red, green and blue, and compares the colour densities of a test copy and a reference copy produced by a calibration model which represents a satisfactory picture reproduction of the calibration copy. According to any deviation present, the adjustment controls on the enlarging machine, which modify the copying light quantity on a selective colour basis, are re-adjusted until they compensate for the deviation, and a further test copy is produced and measured with the new lighting conditions.</p> |
