<p>Encapsulated polymer particles containing therein an oily substance as core are obtained by finely dispersing a polymerizable monomer component containing a crosslinkable monomer and a hydrophilic monomer and an oily substance to form an oil-in-water emulsion, and polymerizing the polymerizable monomer component. Hollow capsule polymer particles can be obtained by removing the oily substance contained in the capsules. The polymer particles have excellent mechanical strengths and heat resistance, thus being usable in various uses.</p> |
