The turning machine invented aids shoe factories in increasing their productivity by accelerating the operation of turning shoe accessory parts which are stitched in the manner of a tube, which was previously time-consuming as it was carried out by hand. The difficulty of mechanising this operation was due to the shape of the parts to be turned. Only the realisation that only a large volume flow, such as is made available by pressure vessels, can turn these parts led to the desired success.
