1. Process for manufacturing type Y zeolite, characterised in that it incorporates the following stages : 1) an aqueous solution of a soluble aluminium compound and an aqueous sodium silicate solution are mixed at room temperature so as to obtain a solution or a sol ; 2) a heat-transfer operation is performed to bring the mixture, which is in the sol or solution state at room temperature, to the crystallisation temperature which is between 50 and 120 degrees C ; 3) crystallisation of the zeolite Y is performed by heating the mixture obtained to a temperature between 50 and 120 degrees C.
