PURPOSE:To enable the tinning of a Ti (alloy) material by dipping the Ti (alloy) material in a mixed molten salt contg. prescribed amounts of SnCl2, LiCl and KCl at a specified temp. CONSTITUTION:A Ti (alloy) material is dipped in a mixed molten salt contg. 8-22wt% SnCl2, 20-45wt% LiCl and 20-45wt% KCl at 450-550 deg.C, and is water-cooled to obtain a tinned Ti (alloy) material. In case of a tinned Ti wire, the wire can be drawn as it is because tin has lubricity and high adhesion, so the productivity of drawing work can be improved. |
