The pressure transducer for a hydraulic clutch system of a motor vehicle contains a working piston axially displaceable in a cylindrical working chamber as well as an after-suction valve which is arranged between the working chamber and a follow-up tank and is in operative connection with the working piston in such a way that its valve member is positively lifted from the valve seat when the working piston assumes a defined initial position (neutral position). So that the hydraulic clutch system can be bled quickly and simply by the so-called vacuum method during assembly of the vehicle and can at the same time be filled with hydraulic fluid, an automatically releasable axial stop is fastened positively or frictionally to the working piston at the factory, by means of which stop the working piston is locked in its defined initial position by bearing against the housing of the pressure transducer until an actuating force acts on it for the first time via the piston rod, which actuating force corresponds at least approximately to the maximum operational actuating force. <IMAGE>
