PRODUCTION OF CYANOCARBOXYLIC ACIDS FROM DINITRILES USING MONONITRILASE

Using mononitrilases, only one of the cyano groups in dinitriles is transformed thereby giving the corresponding cyano carboxylic acids, cyano, carboxylic acid amides, cyano carboxylic acid esters or cyano carboxylic acid thio esters.
