A blown film system is described in which the output capacity is significantly increased by a specific stabilizing and post-cooling device for the film bubble (4). This device consists essentially of a post-cooling cylinder (17) arranged, so as to be height-adjustable, at a distance above the air blowing nozzle (24) of the cooling ring (5) and possible air guide rings (6, 15). A constricting ring (23) follows said post-cooling cylinder (17) at an axial distance. Between the last air guide ring (6) and the post-cooling cylinder (17) there is an expansion zone (16) which permits an air exchange between the heated cooling air stream which flows axially out of the air guide ring (6) and disperses radially and the ambient air. The expansion zone (16) is delimited in the radial direction by a filter cylinder (10) which on the one hand is supported on the cooling ring (5) and on the other hand is axially closed off at its upper end by a flange ring (13). Upstream of the constricting ring (23) there is located a wall region which, by contrast with the radially impermeable post-cooling cylinder (17), is air-permeable so that a part of the cooling air can flow out radially upstream of the constricting ring (23), while cooler ambient air is sucked in downstream thereof. <IMAGE> |
